Mandy Vierthaler
Hi there! I'm a dental hygienist, and I love to have fun with my patients. I figure if they are having fun and I can joke around with them, it may be more memorable for them and they may try to work harder on their hygiene. Our whole team tries to make each visit fun, but personal as well. We like to try to get to know the patient and their family and try to make everything very comfortable for them. When I'm not at work, I love to go shopping, of course, and travel to Colorado to relax in the mountains. My husband, Dave, and I have two children. Noah is four years old, and Jillian is one year old.
Brianna Tuggle
Welcome! I work as a dental assistant and an orthodontic assistant. I enjoy working with kids and being able to educate them on having healthy teeth and gums. This is information they can carry with them into adulthood, and that helps ensure they have their teeth for the rest of their lives! Dr. Prater is a great doctor to work for, because he is very ethical and has a passion for what he does. My husband, Brian, and I have been married for 12 years. We have a beautiful daughter named Bailey.

Hi, I'm Shelly, our orthodontic treatment coordinator and financial account manager. I provide orthodontic consultations as well as other administrative duties. I am very outgoing and love to talk to our patients and parents! This is a great office. Everyone is fun and loves working with kids. We have toys and prizes for the kids and special treats for our orthodontic patients! At home, my husband, Earl, and I have two sons named Brandon and Sean. We also have a fun little dog, Coco!

Hi there, I'm the head orthodontic assistant in our office. I help Dr. Prater in orthodontic procedures, I and love working with our patients! I always take the time to talk with them and establish a good relationship before I start working. I want to know our patients trust me and know that I do everything as gently as possible. It's wonderful to see the kids hop off the chair with a relieved smile on their faces! At home, my husband, Keith and I have a son Dayton, and two dogs named Danny and Izzy.

Hello, I work as the case manager and at the front desk. I am usually the first point of contact with patents, and I enjoy making them feel comfortable here! I am also in charge of making sure our patients get the most from their insurance coverage, which is very important to me. I love my job because I get to talk with the parents on the phone and with the patients and their parents when they come in! I get the best of both worlds, I think. At home, my husband, Bill and I have one son named Sam. I enjoy time with my family and friends, yoga, movies and reading.
Cherie Miller
Hi! I'm a dental assistant, and have been working with Dr. Prater for three years. My duties usually involve following him around and being his right hand woman! I'm very outgoing and talkative, and I love getting to know our patients, what their interests are and what activities they do. Dr. Prater treats his staff great — we all get along and I really enjoy his humor. At home, I spend time goofing off with Paige, my lovely daughter, who is nine years old. I also enjoy reading and scrapbooking.

Welcome to our awesome practice! I have worked in marketing for our office for more than 19 years! I love working with kids and their parents, and I make sure they have lots of fun while in our office. We have games and drawings for kids of all ages. We even have had several parents ask how they can become a patient in our office! They wish there was an office out there as fun for adults as this place is for the kids. Mike and I have three grown children named Beth, Jenny and Brad. We are also blessed with four beautiful grandchildren, Mia, Matthew, Miley, and Andrew.
